About LimbAtlas

Independent research for limb lengthening care

LimbAtlas helps prospective patients compare limb lengthening providers worldwide before they make contact. It is a research and comparison tool, not a booking service, a medical authority, or a lead-generation platform for providers.

What LimbAtlas is

LimbAtlas is an independent global research and comparison platform for limb lengthening providers. Its aim: compare providers, understand care.

It covers hospitals, surgical clinics, surgeon teams, rehabilitation centers, medical travel organizations, and all-in-one patient care centers. The platform sits before the patient-provider relationship begins: it helps people understand who offers limb lengthening care and compare them on structural factors, then steps aside once a user is ready to make contact.

Educational patient guides are a separate part of the site from the provider directory. Guides are general research content; they are not tied to, and do not recommend, any specific provider.

What you can compare

Provider profiles are structured around comparison facts, not marketing claims. Depending on what is publicly documented for a given provider, you can compare:

  • Provider type and care model
  • Country and location
  • Treatment methods and treatment areas offered
  • Rehabilitation and accommodation availability
  • Languages spoken with patients
  • Whether the provider accepts patients operated on elsewhere
  • Verification and sponsorship status

Where a fact is not publicly stated by a provider, LimbAtlas shows that plainly rather than guessing — see editorial policy.

What LimbAtlas does not do

  • No booking, treatment requests, or lead-collection forms of any kind
  • No public prices or cost estimates
  • No star ratings, “best provider” scores, or clinical-outcome rankings
  • No medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
  • No visitor accounts, provider accounts, or payment system

Key point

LimbAtlas does not intermediate contact between patients and providers. There is no in-app inquiry, quote, or booking flow.

Evidence first

Every fact on a profile comes from a publicly available, official source — mainly the provider's own website — and each profile lists those sources with the date they were last checked. Where sources are silent, the profile says “Not publicly stated”; where they are out of date or unclear, it says the information is not confirmed. Profiles are researched from public material and have not been confirmed by the providers themselves.

Each profile links out to the provider's own official website, which is where you make contact, ask questions, or request a quote directly with the provider.

  1. Official sources

The provider's own website, an official hospital website, a government registry, or an official account linked from the provider's website.

  2. Structured profile

Compiled into the same comparison facts for every provider.

  3. The provider's official website

Where you make contact, ask questions, or request a quote directly.

Why there are no rankings or prices

LimbAtlas has not found reliable, comparable public evidence that could rank limb lengthening providers on quality or outcomes, and a ranking built on marketing, popularity or payment would mislead. So LimbAtlas compares providers on structural facts — what kind of organisation each is, what it offers, how care is arranged — and leaves the judgement to you and your clinicians.

Prices are not shown because they depend on the individual treatment plan, change over time, and are often not published in a comparable form. Ask each provider what an estimate includes.

Independence and transparency

Verified and Sponsored are separate, independently tracked labels — a provider can be either, both, or neither, and they are always shown as distinct badges. Sponsorship is always labelled; it never changes verification status, what a profile says or where it appears in ordinary results, and is never presented as a sign of higher quality. Editorial content on the platform is written independently of any sponsorship relationship.

Verified
How far a profile is substantiated by current public sources — not a quality rating or a medical endorsement.
Sponsored
A paid placement, always labelled. Never presented as better than other providers.
