Privacy notice
A plain description of what LimbAtlas does — and does not do — with information about visitors. It describes the site as it is built today.
Last updated
In short
- There are no accounts, sign-ups, contact forms, quote requests, newsletters or payments.
- There is no analytics, tracking or advertising code, and no third-party embeds.
- LimbAtlas does not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
- Two things are remembered in your own browser — your comparison selection and recently viewed providers — and are not sent to LimbAtlas.
Information you provide
There is no way to submit personal information through the site. Nothing you do on LimbAtlas is linked to your identity.
Search, filters and comparisons
Text typed into the site search, the homepage search and the guides search is matched in your browser. It is not sent to LimbAtlas, not added to the page address, and not stored. To make search work, your browser downloads a list of the site's pages; that request contains nothing you typed.
Directory filters (for example a country or city) and the providers in a comparison are part of the page address. Like any page address, they reach the hosting service when the page is loaded, are kept in your browser history, and are visible to anyone you share the link with.
Hosting and request logs
Like any website, LimbAtlas is delivered by a hosting service. When your browser requests a page, the hosting service necessarily receives standard request information — such as your IP address, browser type, the page address and the time — and may keep it in technical logs to operate and protect the service. LimbAtlas does not use this information to profile visitors.
External websites
Provider profiles link to providers' official websites, and pages link to the sources they cite. These links open the other site in a new tab. Once you are there, that site's own privacy practices apply; LimbAtlas does not control them. LimbAtlas does not add tracking parameters to these links.
Review and future changes
Privacy and consent requirements, including how they apply to this browser storage, will be reviewed before launch once the operator, jurisdiction and production setup are confirmed, and this notice will be updated with the outcome.
If LimbAtlas introduces accounts, forms, analytics, advertising or anything else that processes visitor information, this notice will be updated to describe it before it goes live, and consent will be asked for where it is required.
