What LimbAtlas is
LimbAtlas is an independent research and comparison site about limb lengthening providers, methods and devices. It is provided for general information. It is not a medical provider, a booking or referral service, a marketplace, or a ranking of providers.
No medical advice
Nothing on LimbAtlas is medical advice or a recommendation of a provider, technique or device, and it does not replace a qualified medical professional. Decisions about treatment are yours to make with your treating team. The medical disclaimer forms part of these terms.
No relationship with providers
LimbAtlas does not act for, represent or contract with the providers it lists, and it does not pass information between you and them. Any contact, consultation, agreement or treatment is solely between you and the provider. LimbAtlas is not a party to it and is not responsible for a provider's services, statements, prices or conduct.
Accuracy and availability
LimbAtlas works to describe providers accurately from their public sources, as set out in the editorial policy. Public information can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and providers change what they offer. LimbAtlas does not guarantee that any information is complete, current or accurate, and you should confirm anything that matters to you directly with the provider.
The site is provided as it is. It may change, be unavailable at times, or be withdrawn, and features may be added or removed.
External websites
LimbAtlas links to providers' official websites and to the sources it cites. Those sites are run by others, and LimbAtlas does not control or endorse their content, offers or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
Content and intellectual property
The LimbAtlas name and logo, the site design, and its own writing, structured data and illustrations belong to LimbAtlas. You may read, share links to, and quote short passages from the site with attribution. Do not copy or republish substantial parts of it, or reuse its data, without permission.
Provider names, logos, photographs and quoted wording belong to their respective owners and are shown to identify and describe the providers. Cited sources belong to their publishers.
Acceptable use
When using LimbAtlas, please do not:
- use it for anything unlawful;
- disrupt or overload the site, or try to access parts of it that are not public;
- scrape or copy its content in bulk, or use automated tools in a way that places a heavy load on it;
- present LimbAtlas content in a way that suggests LimbAtlas endorses, ranks or recommends a provider.
Limits of responsibility
To the extent the law allows, LimbAtlas is not liable for decisions made, or loss suffered, in reliance on information on the site or on websites it links to. Nothing in these terms limits any right or liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
